Hotel has been booked but the one I want ...

Yes I got the Great ZURI hotel.

OK guys, it is a very good hotel and the amenities, restaurant and bars are great, still I feel like in a prison (no I haven't been a prison, well I have ... as a tourist)

I like freedom and want to be able to walk from the hotel somewhere nice like a mall, a restaurant or a park. At ZURI your a prison if you are not taking a TAXI and in Bangalore the traffic is in chaos and going anywhere is a "PAIN in the *SS" for a western/northern guy like me anyways.

I have chatted with my Indian friends and they do not see any issues ;-) and I am happy with their perspective of their situation.

So my friends in India, me staying in such high standard hotel is not my style, I do not mind staying in less standard hotel as long as it nearby ABB IDC (well I have stayed in a bunker and other holes in Banglore ... some years ago), when I travel with my friends or by myself I bring cameras and computers that have some value and I cannot stay in shabby hotel, I have done it it and I will not do it again if I do not trust the owner. Trusting the owner I have, with all my gear and I did not even lock the bungalow, but he is also my friend since many years now.
